Chevrolet revealed the 2020 Corvette Stingray convertible, which is the first-ever Corvette convertible with a mid-engine and a hardtop. The hardtop Corvette convertible has new impressive features and gives a powerful performance.
With the hardtop, the
cabin of the Stingray is quieter, which makes for more relaxing drives. The
hardtop also has a sleek appearance and adds more security. When you put the
top down, you can still utilize the spacious trunk and the front storage
compartment of the convertible to store your sports equipment and other cargo.
You can activate the two-piece top when
driving at speeds of up to 30 mph, and you can retract it in just 16 seconds. You
can have a roof that is body-colored, or you can opt for the Carbon Flash
metallic-painted nacelles and roof for a bold style.
The convertible contains a 6.2-liter Small Block V8 LT2 engine, which reaches 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission pairs with the engine. Plus, the vehicle’s chassis was adjusted to provide a spirited performance.
The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible is an exciting new vehicle. We at Greenwood Chevrolet encourage you to stop by our dealership to take one of our Chevrolet models out for a test drive to learn more about the available features.
Chevrolet is adding some exciting new updates for 2020. The 2020 Silverado 1500 is receiving a powerful new
diesel engine, while the 2020 Corvette Stingray is becoming mid-engined.
2020 Silverado 1500
For the first time since
1997, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is offering an available diesel engine. Paired
with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the new 3.0-liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engine achieves 277 horsepower and 460
lb-ft of torque.
The powerful engine also has
an EPA-estimated 23 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.* As such, the
fuel-efficient truck can help you save money on fuel over time.
2020 Corvette Stingray
The 2020 Corvette Stingray is
the very first Corvette to have an engine placed behind passengers. The engine
itself is a 6.2-liter LT2 V8, which reaches 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of
torque. With the new placement, the profile is different, and it’s easier to
get into the vehicle.
The Continuously Variable
Valve Timing enhances the engine’s performance. Meanwhile, the standard
dual-clutch transmission makes shifting smooth and quick.
